Sometimes you don’t need the whole vision — just the courage to start.

This week on the Stay Juicy Podcast, I shared something close to my heart: the story of how Tula Wellness was born. This isn’t a polished “how I built this” narrative — it’s a real story about leaving corporate medicine without a clear plan, listening to women, and creating a sanctuary where healing and beauty meet.

Leaving Corporate Medicine

After two decades in high-risk obstetrics, I was exhausted. I wanted to create a space where I could serve women differently — not in 15-minute visits, but in conversations that honored the whole person. So I stepped away from security to follow something unknown.

From Coolsculpting to Aesthetics and Beyond

Tula didn’t start with a master plan. Our first services were facials and Coolsculpting. Then women asked for Botox. Then they asked for more — from weight management to supplements to hormone therapy. Over time, Tula became what my patients needed most.

The Meaning of Tula

Tula means balance in Sanskrit. Balance has become both our mission and our energy. When women walk into Tula, they tell us they can feel it — a space that holds them, restores them, and reminds them they are not alone in this season of life.

Tula as an Expression of Love

Tula isn’t just a business. It’s my love letter to women in midlife and beyond. It’s where my own evolution meets the evolution of my patients. It’s messy, beautiful, and always growing — just like us.
